One very exciting project that I was fourtunate to work on was the main page illustration for the official website of General Chuck Yeager.

This involved completing a 3d model of the P-51 Mustang, Glamorous Glen III. This was Chuck Yeager's mount while he flew with the 357FG in WWII. Also on the list was the Bell X-1 that he flew into the history books when he broke the sound barrier.

Featured in Ghost Wings magazine!

I'm very proud to have my illustration of the B-17 bomber displayed on the center-spread of Ghost Wings magazine. The folks at Ghost Wings are a great bunch and I thank them for the opportunity. The illustration goes with the exciting story of survival by two crewmen of the B-17 "Ol' Scrapiron".

The illustration was created using my digital art techniques of 3d rendering and photoshop. The image required quite a bit of work in photoshop before it was completed. The plane was rendered in 3DsMax, but I went over all of it with a brush in photoshop to add detail and get the details correct. I was under a tight deadline and was forced to accelerate my brushwork. I think this had a positive effect as I was pleased with the looseness of the quick brushwork which still captured most of the detail that I wanted to Include.
